Camp Oxford

Information in Regard to Camp Change:

    Due to changes in policies and pricing structure of Little Grassy United Methodist Camp the Little Egypt Chrysalis Board of Directors has made the decision to move the January 2009 Flight 20, and subsequent Flights to another location.  We have had many great memories and successes to be thankful for at the Little Grassy location. 

    As we look forward to the future we anticipate many more successes and great memories at a new location.  Through this process we have given consideration to numerous alternative facilities.  After much prayer, thought, and discussion we believe that God has opened the doors for us to utilize Camp Oxford, which is south of Harrisburg, Illinois. 

    As we look forward to the great amount of potential that this change has for the ministry that God is allowing us to be involved in we ask that you continue to remember Chrysalis, the teams of future flights, and the brand new Caterpillars that God has coming our way in prayer on a continuous basis.  Submitting to the leadership of the Holy Spirit has always been a key element in the success of Chrysalis.

    If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback please do not hesitate to contact me. 

    I also ask that as we make this transition each of us as members of this community give careful thought to the way in which we portray this move.  Your positive attitude makes a world of difference to ensuring the success of this ministry.
